MemryX is now integrated into Frigate NVR's latest stable release, 0.17, to run real-time object detection using the MX3 AI accelerator.
With MemryX handling inference, Frigate can run efficient on-device AI detection for high performance and scalable home surveillance, without the need for a big GPU.
What is Frigate?
Frigate NVR is an open-source, self-hosted network video recorder for IP cameras that’s built around real-time AI object detection—so instead of relying on basic motion alerts, it can identify things like people or vehicles and record/notify based on what actually matters, while keeping processing and video on your own hardware for privacy. It’s easy to use because it’s designed to fit neatly into common home-automation setups (especially Home Assistant) with an official integration, giving you straightforward dashboards, events, and automations.
